{"id":59953,"date":"2022-04-21T08:53:47","date_gmt":"2022-04-21T08:53:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/altuscoating.com\/?p=59953"},"modified":"2022-04-21T08:53:47","modified_gmt":"2022-04-21T08:53:47","slug":"apply-to-become-our-next-laboratory-quality-control-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/altuscoating.com\/en\/careers\/apply-to-become-our-next-laboratory-quality-control-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"Apply to become our next Laboratory Quality Control Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1650531211351{padding-bottom: 10px !important;}&#8221;]Join us as our next Laboratory Quality Control Manager, qualified in the chemical and packaging sector.<\/p>\n<p>Looking to play an active role in an exciting human and innovative adventure?<\/p>\n<p>Our independent family-run company is internationally renowned for its know-how as a creator of engineered, specific, aesthetic and ethical solutions for coating materials (glass, plastic, metal, paper, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From the very start, we have chosen to adopt an agile innovation and cooperation approach with our manufacturing clients and major customers from the cosmetics and spirits sectors.<\/p>\n<p>The capacity of our R&amp;D lab to create innovative solutions contributes to our development.<\/p>\n<p>We have implemented a work organization and a level of rigor allowing us to meet the requirements of CSR labels (Responsible Care Charter, 2021 EcoVadis Platinum medal) as well as ISO 9001- ISO 14001 and AEO certifications.<\/p>\n<p>As a guarantor of the conformity of our products in relation to our quality benchmarks, we are looking for our Laboratory Quality Control Manager, based at our headquarters near Lons le Saunier (Jura, France), reporting to the R&amp;D Laboratory Manager, in conjunction with the QSE Manager.<\/p>\n<p>With a background as a chemical technician or engineer, and skills in quality, metrology, colorimetry, your demonstrated experience in the paint, varnish and ink industry makes you a strong contender for this position.<\/p>\n<p>You are adept at physico-chemical controls for all sample characterization actions, whether it be an analysis, measurement, test, observation.<\/p>\n<p>You will have access to our dedicated lab equipment (chromatography, spectrocolorimeter, microscope, rheometer, abrasimeter, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>Your work will be carried out according to standards ISO 9001 and 14001.<\/p>\n<p>Your level of English is sufficient for proper communication within the laboratory.<\/p>\n<p>Within the laboratory, you will be responsible for the:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>quality control of raw materials<\/li>\n<li>quality control of the finished products, both during and at the end of production<\/li>\n<li>drafting of analysis certificates for the products delivered to the customer<\/li>\n<li>duplication of colors and effects<\/li>\n<li>correct operation of the lab equipment and its metrological follow-up<\/li>\n<li>mastery of the lab equipment and related software<\/li>\n<li>drafting of the laboratory operating procedures and their updates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For this position, we are looking for an experienced individual with high performance standards and who shows flexibility.
