Two main principles structure the approach to CSR at Altus Coating

Limiting its environmental footprint in its day-to-day operations, as a responsible manufacturer

its environmental footprint in relation to the manufacture of its products, as well as the company’s activities in its totality, by monitoring its consumption, preferring to purchase recycled and/or recyclable products as consumables, and by reducing its direct and indirect emissions.
a participative collaboration with its customers on development projects for products that are more environmentally friendly, by reducing VOCs and limiting energy consumption during their implementation, and by using bio-sourced substances.
  • Measures taken to limit VOCs (organization, working on formulas (solvent-free varnish, bio-sourced resins, water-based varnish), with results validated by periodic checks
  • Maintaining performance with regard to energy management
  • Pursuing the reduction in the quantity of waste produced per kg of varnish: down 27 % between 2019 and 2020
  • 100 % of waste is either recycled or reused
