Flashback on Paris Packaging week 2023: feedback from Altus Coating and his outstanding textured metalized varnishes
The Altus Coating team was present at the Paris Packaging Week on January 25 and 26 where Eric Pertus, CEO had the pleasure to present during a point with the press the metallization solutions!

The Altus Coating team had great pleasure speaking with you during the Paris Packaging Week on January 25th and 26th.
We received 181 people to our booth and 300 people visited our webpage on the event website. Thanks a lot for that!
In the current context where:
- the vast majority of luxury packaging objects are increasingly enhanced by a unique decor,
- environmental issues force manufacturers to seek solutions for sustainable objects and packaging,
we have chosen to present at our booth the work of our R&D laboratory which has imagined for 2023 combining effects from physics with so-called material effects to obtain unique decorations, incomparable metallic effects by texturing the varnishes and thus making the choice to keep all the richness of the decorations and textures.
The metallization proposed by Altus Coating in 2023 with its “Top Coat” and “Base Coat” UV varnishes therefore makes it possible to:
- create an infinite number of extra durable metallic decorations,
• open up possibilities and dare to innovate in the service of designers’ ideas!
Of course, the whole range of our UV, Hydro and High Solid varnishes as well as bio-sourced products were also there to meet your virtuous approach: less energy consumed, less VOCs, more Up Cycling without losing any of our quality requirements for your packagings, as well as ALSAFE®, our unparalleled antimicrobial component which is added to all our UV varnishes.
Along with another 7 companies, Altus Coating also welcomed Eco Tour visitors, proposing four guided tours on the topic of sustainable packaging to help you create the perfect packaging with full understanding of its environmental impact.
